A very rare opportunity to own a matt finish 12×12 inches photo hand signed by the late Charlie Watts and fellow drummer Kenney Jones. Charlie Watts was the drummer of The Rolling Stones from 1963 until his death in 2021. Kenney Jones is best known for his work in the groups Small Faces, Faces and the Who. Jones was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Small Faces/Faces. It’s Only Rock’n Roll’ is the 12th studio album by the The Rolling Stones, released on 18 October 1974. The title track was recorded separately from the rest of the album. The basic rhythm track had been laid down by members of the Faces, including Wood and drummer Kenney Jones, during a jam session with Jagger, David Bowie, and bassist Willie Weeks. Jagger liked the song so much that he brought the basic track to Richards, who added some guitar overdubs, and after some polishing, it was put on the album as-is. Great piece signed by the late legendary drummer of one of the greatest Rock’N’ Roll bands of all time and the legendary Kenney Jones! A very rare opportunity to own a matt finish 10×8 inches photo hand signed by the late drummer Charlie Watts. Charlie Watts was the drummer of the Rolling Stones from 1963 until his death in 2021. In mid-1962, Watts first met Brian Jones, Ian “Stu” Stewart, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who also frequented the London rhythm and blues clubs, but it was not until January 1963 that Watts finally agreed to join the Rolling Stones. Initially, the band could not afford to pay Watts, who had been earning a regular salary from his gigs. His first public appearance as a permanent member was at the Ealing Jazz Club on 2 February 1963. Watts was often introduced as “The Wembley Whammer” by Jagger during live concerts. In 1989, Watts was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Rolling Stones, and in 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame, also with the Rolling Stones. He is often regarded as one of the greatest drummers of all time! Great piece signed by the legendary drummer from one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time!
