The artwork was originally created to promote The Rolling Stones’ appearance at Western Springs Stadium, Auckland, on 11 February 1973 during the band’s celebrated Pacific Tour. McCausland’s striking design has become one of the most recognisable pieces of Rolling Stones concert artwork from the era. This official limited reissue was printed on heavy 250gsm stock and faithfully reproduces the original colours and detail of the 1973 poster while carrying Ian McCausland’s hand signature, making it highly desirable to both Rolling Stones collectors and vintage poster enthusiasts. An original sixties colour snapshot photograph of Mick Jagger coming out of Olympic Studios, London, England in July 1968 autographed on the front by Mick Jagger in blue ballpoint pen. It was during this period the Rolling Stones were recording their groundbreaking album’Beggars Banquet’ which would be released on 6. The snapshot measures 9cm x 12cm (3.5 inches x 4.75 inches).
