This is a vintage vinyl release of the classic 1977 live album called ” PRIMAL SOLOS ” by JOHN MAYALL. It has been signed with a black permanent marker, in-person by singer/guitarist John Mayall while touring Europe on June 30, 2008 in Helsinki, Finland, and by guitarist Mick Taylor [ex- ROLLING STONES] while touring Europe on March 12, 2005 in Helsinki, Finland. Pasche hand-draws and colors the logo next to his signed statement, “John Pasche / I created & designed the Rolling Stones’ logo in 1970″. Artwork is completed on a large lithograph poster of the famous logo, measuring 18″ x 24″.

Original artwork of the famous “Tongue and Lips” logo of the Rolling Stones, hand-drawn and hand-painted by John Pasche, who designed the logo in 1970 as a young art student, not realizing he would be creating one of the most iconic, instantly recognizable pop artworks of the modern era. Rendered in gouache and pencil on heavy weight 300 g/m art paper, Pasche signs in pencil at lower right. Paper measures 31.5.
