ROLLING STONES In the Beginning SIGNED Limited Ed 53/1000 2006 NEW SEALED
From March 1965 to May 1966 photographer Bent Rej enjoyed unique access to The Rolling Stones. Having become one of the trusted inner circle of friends and associates he accompanied them on their first full European outing: The Satisfaction Tour. This extraordinary special edition presents Rej’ s collection of intimate photographs of this charismatic group of young musicians, and revealing a forgotten time in the history of rock. Revelling in the first fruits of popular success they are nevertheless unaware of what the future will hold. Only Mick Jagger begins to pose self-consciously in front of the lens, and it is only with hindsight that we realise that at this point The Rolling Stones were perched on the edge of the heights – or abyss – of superstardom. This is a sealed signed limited edition copy, number 53 of 1000, in excellent’mint’ condition. Photos shown are from my personal opened copy. Signed by Bill Wyman and Bent Rej. A signed and numbered hardback book and separate box of photographs housed in two piece matt black slipcase. A very heavy item weighing in at around 5 kilos which will be sent well packed, tracked and signed for in UK.
