Ronald David “Ronnie” Wood is a British musician and songwriter, best known as a member of The Rolling Stones since 1975 and for his time with the bands Faces, The Jeff Beck Group, and The Birds. Wood began his career in 1964 when he joined The Birds as a guitarist. He then joined the mod group The Creation, though his time with the band was brief. Wood joined Jeff Beck’s band in 1967 as a bassist. With the group, he released two albums, Truth and Beck-Ola, which achieved moderate success.
