Two card stock tickets to a Gala Dinner that have been autographed on the reverse by The Rolling Stones in ballpoint pen. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts have signed in black ballpoint pen, Brian Jones and Bill Wyman have signed in blue ballpoint pen. The autographs were obtained at the City Hall, Salisbury on 17th January 1964. They come with a letter from a friend of the original recipient that reads’Please find enclosed the autographs of the Rolling Stones. I was 14 at the time they performed at Salisbury City Hall. I lived with my parents in Amesbury, Wiltshire a few miles outside of Salisbury. My dad was in the army and was quite strict so wouldn’t allow me to go, so one of my friends kindly got me their autographs. I finally got to see the Stones many years later at Newcastle and it was well worth the wait’ The two cards measure 11.4 x 9 cm The condition is very good with some small tape staining which does not affect the autographs.
