The book for sale is a rare signed, limited edition photographic collection chronicling the early days of the Rolling Stones. The book is signed by the Rolling Stone’s member Bill Wyman and photographer Bent Rej. The book was published by Mitchell Beazeley in 2006. Only 1,000 copies were produced of the limited edition. This is copy is 671. The book is signed by Wyman and Rej on the book’s colophon. The book is quarter bound in leather and three-quarter silver cloth. The book is printed on 170g Garda matt paper and hand-bound by Lego, Italy. This productions includes six special photographic prints printed on 250 gsm, high-quality, coated paper. The book is in fine condition with no obvious flaws, see photos. The spine and boards are tight and straight. There are no internal markings, other than Wyman and Rej’s signatures. There is no previous owner’s bookplate. The book is housed in a beautiful silk-bound slipcase. The prints are housed in a separate silk-bound case. The separate prints are in fine condition with no flaws, see photos. The slipcase is in very good condition with minor shelf wear, see photos. A mono first pressing of Otis Redding’s 1967 album. From the legendary collection of Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman. Bill Wyman is legendary as a musician, a blues historian, an author and for his world-class collection of Rolling Stones memorabilia. Bill Wyman and his Rolling Stones Archive. The Rolling Stones were great admirers of Redding and covered a number of his songs including “Pain in My Heart” on their 1965 album The Rolling Stones, Now! They followed this with a cover of “That’s How Strong My Love Is” on their 1965 Out of Our Heads album. They also recorded a version of Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” that was released on their 1966 Got Live If you Want It! Album with added crowd atmosphere to make it sound as though it had been performed live. Redding borrowed from the Stones as well when he had a big hit with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”. A live version of “Satisfaction” is included on this album. Cover: VG++, Disc NM-/EX. A copy of the 2013 limited edition book’Bill Wyman’s Scrapbook’ officially sanctioned by the former Rolling Stones bassist. It offers a definitive, intimate, and highly personal journey through the life of Rolling Stones founding member and bass player, Bill Wyman. The majority of the content is previously unseen and has handwritten notes on most pages explaining the significance of the images. Also included is a 10 picture disc with rare and unreleased material/ It is presented in a large format in a clamshell box. The book is No. 646 of 1,962 limited edition copies, each hand-signed by Bill Wyman on the centre page. The book comes in the original mailing box. The condition of the box is very good plus. The condition of the book is excellent. The first item is charged at the normal rate. Our Grading System Explained. Mint = As new. Near Mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws. Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
