Bill Wyman Rolling Stones Signed Autograph Signature Advertising Book Signing In Albion Street in Leeds at The Waterstones Book Store. A unique and unusual Autograph with a Gift inscription handwritten by Bill. This is a unique item. It has a little wear as shown, and the paper poster has some ripples, these could probably be sorted out if it was reglued to the backing. It is an advertisement which comprises of a poster on a hard cardboard backing advertising a book signing session by Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones at Waterstones Book Store in Leeds. The gift inscription is addressed to Jan (the recipient) and it reads Love to Jan Bill Wyman. The session was to launch his book entitled The Stones, a history in Cartoons by Bill Wyman. It is a stand up advertising board or poster, on hard cardboard, this advert is for a book signing session at Waterstones in Leeds on 2nd May 2012. The book was compiled from extracts from 40 years of Bill Wymans diaries. The autograph is clear and readable and the gift inscription is to Jan. The Advertisement includes an image of his book that he was promoting, and an image of a pencil portrait drawing of Bill. The piece has a pull out section on the back so it can be freestanding or it could be displayed as a wall hanging. A great piece of music memorabilia, and a very collectable piece. The entire thing measures 21.25 inches x 15.25 inches. It does have some wear as mentioned, but it is ready to display. A great piece for a Man Cave or Bar for any Stones fan. A very rare opportunity to own a hardback copy of’Ronnie Wood Artist’ hand signed with sketch from Musician Ronnie Wood. Ronnie Wood is an English rock musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, artist, author, and radio personality best known as a member of the Rolling Stones since 1975, as well as a member of Faces and the Jeff Beck Group. Wood’s paintings, drawings and prints frequently feature icons of popular culture and have been exhibited all over the world. He did the cover artwork to Eric Clapton’s 1988 box set Crossroads. Several of his paintings, including a work commissioned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, are displayed at London’s Drury Lane Theatre. Art critic Brian Sewell has called Wood “an accomplished and respectable artist” and the South Bank Show has devoted an entire program to his artwork. Wood is also co-owner (along with sons Jamie and Tyrone) of a London art gallery called Scream. In addition to signing the book Ronnie has also added a “Woody Woodpecker” sketch, significant to his nickname’Woody. Great piece with rare sketch signed by the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist!
