Spectacular over sized full set of Brian Jones (founder of the Stones) era Rolling Stones signatures. Obtained by Michael McCartney (yes, Paul’s brother) for a hairdresser/friend of his from Liverpool. The signatures are on the reverse of lunch menu (heavy stock) and measures an over sized 9 3/16″ X 6 3/16″. A highly desirable set of early Rolling Stones signatures. Comes with a letter of provenance from the hair dresser/friend of Mike’s and a letter of authenticity. Note Early Keith signed “Richard” rather than his later signatures where he signs “Richards”, Keith also wrote “To Arlene, Love from the Rolling Stones”. I’ve seen several hundred authentic sets of Rolling Stones Brian Jones (founder of the Stones) era autographs over the years, this set is by far the nicest I have ever seen. Having Keith adding the dedication and before he added the “s” only adds to value of this item. This is a must have for Stones fans. This menu card is a lot cleaner then it looks on the scan, the camera I used for some reason took a very hig h resolution photograph. Rolling Stones Full Band Autographs Inc. A full set of 1960s era Rolling Stones autographs. We have the signatures of Mick Jagger, Keith Richard(s), Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and Brian Jones. The signatures are all of one small piece of yellow paper. The signatures are to both front and back in different coloured inks (the band presumably all had a separate pen each at the time, ready to sign mementos for fans). The piece has the classic five original member line up which dates this between 1963-69, after Ian Stewart was dropped as a full member but before Brian Jones departure. Note that Keith Richards signature has dropped the S during this period. This was done by their then manager Andrew Loog Oldham, thinking it sounded more pop. Keith later reinstated the full name Richards in the 1970s. The signed piece of paper measures 9.5cm by 10.5cm. The item has general age wear and creases from folding. There is a piece of cellotape to the top which partially covers both Keith Richards and Charlie Watts signatures, but does not obscure them. The signatures are all clear and un-faded although Mick Jaggers has run a little from water damage. We guarantee this is an authentic piece. The item “Rolling Stones Full Band Autographs Inc. Rolling Stones Autographed Signed Page 1964 – Fully Verified – Inc Brian Jones. These autographs have been verified by numerous experts in the field and also have been given a COA (certificate of authenticity) by a very reputable authenticater, music collector and tradesman. Images of the autographs have been taken for security and logged in a database. This is a great opportunity to acquire Authentic autograpghs by the UK Rock band members from “The Rolling Stones”. They are written on a “Coates Somerset Cider Shopping List” which is an overall size of approx 8 x 12cm. The paper has some glue stain damage on the top & bottom edges. This does not interfere with the quality of the signatures. The paper has aged well but shows very slight wear from being folded into four. All four signatures are in black biro and are visually very clear. The signatures on the shopping list have been identified as pertaining to. Charlie Watts (who has also written “Rolling Stones”). In the same frame is another authentic signature of Charlie Watts, but it is very faded. Sadly Bill Wyman’s signature is not present on either piece of paper. When the autographs were acquired from the original owner they gave the following events of how and where the autographs were acquired. On holiday in Gurnsey August 1964, my family and I were dining in Vazon Bay restaurant at the same time as the Rolling Stones. I was 12 years old at the time and admirers of the Stones so I approached and asked for their autographs. The willingly obliged but had to make do with whatever paper we could find!
