This is the original 1994 first edition of 40 copies. Very beautiful and original collectable Rolling Stones / Gered Mankowitz item in excellent condition. This superb print was made in London by Wayne Johnson. He has used four colours – Metallic Gold, Red, Ochre & Black to achieve a remarkable result. It is printed on 310 gsm Somerset Satin, 100% cotton, acid free, mould-made, tub sized and deckle edged paper. It measures 30ins x 40ins (76cm x 102cm) with an image size of 29ins x 22ins (74cm x 56cm). All prints are signed, numbered & stamped. This vintage edition was originally produced to celebrate the Stones Bridges To Babylon tour coming to the UK in 1999. This print is based on the original 1965 portrait of the Stones called “Caged”.
