A very rare opportunity to own a matt finish 10×8 inches photo hand signed by the late drummer Charlie Watts. Charlie Watts was the drummer of the Rolling Stones from 1963 until his death in 2021. In mid-1962, Watts first met Brian Jones, Ian “Stu” Stewart, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who also frequented the London rhythm and blues clubs, but it was not until January 1963 that Watts finally agreed to join the Rolling Stones. Initially, the band could not afford to pay Watts, who had been earning a regular salary from his gigs. His first public appearance as a permanent member was at the Ealing Jazz Club on 2 February 1963. Watts was often introduced as “The Wembley Whammer” by Jagger during live concerts. In 1989, Watts was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Rolling Stones, and in 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame, also with the Rolling Stones. He is often regarded as one of the greatest drummers of all time! Great piece signed by the legendary drummer from one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time! The tour promoted their album tattoo you and was the highest grossing tour of 1981 The tour kicked off at the john F Kennedy stadium in Philadelphia in September and ended at the Hampton coliseum in December The postcard measures 15.9 x 10.7 cm The condition is Good +with some light creasing on the corners.

Got this from an Estate. This is how it was found along with the certificate of authentication from Irwin Pate’s widow. Online you will find Irwin Pate was James Brown’s promoter in the 1960’s and later became a concert promoter of numerous other artists nationwide. He and his wife collected a lot of memorabilia. These pants are approximately 28 inch waist and 31 inch length. They were well worn by Mick. A true one of a kind piece you won’t find anywhere else. This is a genuine autographed record album by four members of the band “The Rolling Stones”. The signatures of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. These are genuine signatures signed on an original “Emotional Rescue” record album which has been professionally matted and framed. The frame measures approximately 24″x16″. There is some water damage and tears on the cover which can be seen in the photos, the vinyl record is in good condition and plays well. This was signed when they played at the Pepsi Center in Denver Colorado, November 24th 2005. The item’s authenticity can be verified by visiting the website listed on the accompanying COA.
