The Rolling Stones were great admirers of Redding and covered a number of his songs including “Pain in My Heart” on their 1965 album The Rolling Stones, Now! They followed this with a cover of “That’s How Strong My Love Is” on their 1965 Out of Our Heads album. They also recorded a version of Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” that was released on their 1966 Got Live If you Want It! Album with added crowd atmosphere to make it sound as though it had been performed live. Redding borrowed from the Stones as well when he had a big hit with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”. A live version of “Satisfaction” is included on this album. Cover: VG++, Disc NM-/EX.
