This large Gold record display is the perfect way to re-purpose popular music recordings. It starts with a real pressed black vinyl record then gold electro plated, then polished to a mirror finish. The last step is to laser etch the artist image on the 12 record, this process creates the most stunning product. The ghost image is so perfect like a photograph. The signature of the artist is a “REPRODUCTION” not hand signed by the artist. It looks so real but it was printed on the album cover. Outside dimension is 21? Tall by 25? Wide, weight is 4 pounds comes ready to hang with courtesy wall hook. The wood frame has a black lacquer finish like fine furniture. Double matted with acid free black and red mat. Weltberühmter Schallplatten der Rock- und Popmusikgeschichte auf legendären Plattenspielern von den 50er Jahren bis in die Anfänge der 90er in überdimensionalen Formaten. Vinylography erinnert an sehr persönliche Momente, die jeder einzelne Musikliebhaber mit einem bestimmten Song oder einem Album verbindet und sie ein Leben lang begleitet. Wenn man die großformatigen Fotografien betrachten, weckt dies Erinnerungen. Es ist wie ein Film, der im Kopf abläuft. Die Vinylography von den Rolling Stones “Sticky” zeigt die englische Originalpressung der 12 inch LP auf einem englischen Garrard Zero 100 S Plattenspieler aus der Zeit der Erstveröffentlichung der Platte. Das Bild stammt aus der Vinylography Iconic Masterpiece Edition. Echter Fotoabzug ist mittels modernster Lasertechnik ausbelichtet und klassisch entwickelt. Dann wird er unter Acrylglas kaschiert und rückseitig von einer Alu-Dibond Rückwand stabilisiert. Abschließend wird er mit dauerelastischem Silikon versiegelt. Um aus jedem Werk der Edition Masterpiece ein skulpturales Galerie-Objekt zu machen, wird das fertige Bild mit einem Schattenfugenrahmen aus satiniertem Aluminium eingefasst. Da Bild und Rahmen durch die Fuge optisch voneinander getrennt sind, entsteht ein schwebender Effekt, der der Lagerung des Plattenspieler-Chassis in einer Zarge nachempfunden ist. Vinylography ist angesichts einer bemerkenswert detailgetreuen fotografischen Qualität in gewisser Weise auch als dokumentarische Kunst zu verstehen. Bei dem Artwork handelt es sich um ein Exemplar aus einer weltweit auf nur 7 Exemplare limitierten Serie. Das Echtheitszertifikat ist vorhanden und wird selbstverständlich mitgeliefert.
