The Rolling Stones I-CON. TACT / EYE-CONTACT Signed Photo Book (Mankowitz 1998)
This entire package is an absolutely stunning endeavor that contains a detailed and complete record of the band’s studio time/tours from 1965 to 1968. It was made possible by author/biographer/close friend of the band Gered Mankowitz. He allowed it to be put together and released in 1998 through Genesis Publications under the condition that only 950 copies are pressed. Since it is such a detailed and thorough package, please feel free to visit the publisher’s site and a number of other’Stones related sites for further information about this book. Here are some important details about how this project came to fruition. In 1965 Gered Mankowitz was asked to join the Stones as official photographer on their second tour of the USA. After the tour, Gered continued to photograph the Stones until 1968, photographing them at home, in many different studios, on Primrose Hill and much more. His archive of 170 contact sheets offers a wealth of previously unpublished photographs of the Stones, including eighteen which Gered has selected for full-page reproduction in this large format book. Accompanying the images are Gered’s recollections of his time with the Stones. There are 3,000 Rolling Stones images reproduced as enlarged 35mm contact sheets or same-size 2 1/4 inch square frames in this massive A3 torne. T he book is spiral bound in heavy printed boards, with a specially-produced linen tester magnifying glass, housed in a solander box. It also contains a photo that is autographed by Gered Mankowitz himself. The size of the book’s pages is 300mm x 420mm. If you would like any further pictures please message us and we will be happy to take/send them to you. Only 950 numbered copies of this package were produced and it was a one-time pressing! This box is numbered as #258 out of 950. Gered Mankowitz agreed to allow his personal archive to be used for this project only with the promise that only 950 books are ever pressed worldwide. Please check out our other items for sale page to view all of the items that are for sale. We will be continuously adding more rare items and posters so check back often! Domestic customers are preferred. Feel free to message us with any further questions about anything.

Rolling Stones Mick Taylor Sign
Rolling Stones Mick Taylor Sign. This is the signature of Mick Taylor, who was a member of the Stones for five years from 1970. I had him write it in front of me when he appeared at a live house in Fukuoka during his Japan tour with his own band in 1992. The signature is a little blurred because he was in a hurry. The photo was taken by Mikio Ariga, a well-known official photographer of the Stones. It is very valuable along with the signature. The size is about 30.5 cm (length) and 24.5 cm (width). About other area, please ask me. International Buyers – Please Note.
