Autograph Book including The Beatles & Rolling Stones- Full Set of Signatures. RR Auctions informed me the John Lennon autographed was done by Paul McCartney. The Beatles, a full set of signatures of the fab four including John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr & George Harrison, the facing page has a black & white photograph of The Beatles taken backstage by Tom Mellor (3 x 4 inches), taken in August 1963 during their six night run at Bournemouth Gaumont, the album also contains a set of Rolling Stones autographs, Billy J Kramer, Dakotas, The Searchers, Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black & other signatures all from shows at The Bournemouth Gaumont. The Vendors uncle (Tom Mellor) was chief lighting technician at the Gaumont Cinema in Bournemouth in the 1960’s. Many touring bands & musicians appeared at the venue and the signatures were collected for his niece. Photographs in the album were taken by her uncle who was a keen amateur photographer and did much of the PR work for the cinema.
