Renowned for his famous iconic images of the Stones, such as the’Between the Buttons’ cover shot, Gered Mankowitz’s archive of 170 contact sheets offers a wealth of previously unpublished photographs of the Stones, including 18 which Gered has selected for full-page reproduction in this large format book. Accompanying all these images are Gered’s fascinating recollections of his time spent with the Rolling Stones during their early years. The book is spiral bound in heavy screen-printed boards on rich black cloth with specially produced linen tester magnifying glass, in a solander box.
